Job Summary
The Front Desk Coordinator is the first point of contact for visitors and employees; the ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while efficiently managing front desk operations. The responsibilities include ensuring the office is organized and operating efficiently, while also streamlining processes to enhance productivity for all employees. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting essential business functions, including Operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Greet visitors and assist them while ensuring compliance with the visitor policy when entering the manufacturing facility.
Oversee front desk operations, including answering and directing phone calls, emails, and inquiries, as well as managing scheduling and providing administrative support
Sort the incoming mail, distribute and scan as needed.
Prepare outgoing mail, include certified mail as needed.
Provide support for various office tasks and employee events as needed, including sending birthday cards to all employees in the manufacturing facility.
Maintain office supplies, stock the fridge and coffee station with beverages, coffee cups, k-cups, maintain beverages, snacks and kitchen supplies for the office.
Ensure the reception area and office spaces are clean and organized for all employees, in coordination with the facility janitor.
Publish weekly updates to RedZone – the Company’s connected workforce solution - utilizing power point and gaining insight from across the team.
Manage and maintain office access cards for employees
Enhance the employee experience through daily interactions. Spanish-speaking ability is desired.
Review and become familiar with the employee handbook and facility policies.
Support on-site production staff meetings, including on the off-shifts as needed
Partner with Office Manager and cross-functional employees as needed to support engagement programs to foster a positive workplace experience

Works comfortably in a variable temperature environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on a manufacturing plant floor.
Food Safety Responsibilities
Ensure all food safety protocols and GMPs are met while executing tasks relevant to role.
Clearly reflect food safety and quality as part of the JP brand, when planning and executing projects, and while interacting with relevant external and internal stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
Work from the office 5 days a week during the hours of 8:00 am – 1:00pm, or 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm including flexing schedule as needed for off-shift support
Lifting requirements up to 30 lbs
Willing to travel to all offices across the Metro area.
Connection to Elk River community and/or local residence strongly preferred.
Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS), RedZone, MS Office Suite, and other training tools.
Ability to assess training needs, evaluate program effectiveness, and make improvements based on feedback and performance data.
In-depth understanding of food manufacturing processes, equipment safety, and regulatory compliance.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, safety, and compliance.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt training content to meet evolving operational needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve training goals.

Work Environment
Primarily on-site within a corporate office.
May require occasional travel for external training or meetings.
Ability to work in environments that may include exposure to noise, machinery, and temperature variations.
