Supply Chain Planning Analyst

What You Will Do: 

As a Supply Planning Analyst, you will support our Supply Chain Team in procuring goods and materials necessary for our operations, while continuously analyzing the movement of those materials to improve and optimize throughout our supply chain. You will be integral to maintaining the seamless flow of our supply chain, ensuring inventory is properly managed, cost effectively, and aligned with our strategic goals.  

Responsibilities: 

• Place purchase orders, track and schedule shipments, and ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining accurate records  
• Create and manage work orders, work with production scheduling team to identify any plant shortage related challenges and act quickly to resolve or adjust schedule accordingly 
• Champions continuous process improvement by identifying areas of efficiency enhancement and implementing innovative solutions. 
• Gathers and evaluates supplier information, such as lead times, product specifications, and delivery terms.  
• Coordinate inbound freight shipments and timely deliveries, work closely with logistics team to improve upon rates and lead times  
• Tracks and reports key performance indicators, such as inventory turn ratio, obsolescence and freight costs.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred. 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis. 
• Familiarity with procurement and inventory management software; Oracle NetSuite experience is a plus. 
• Familiarity with supply chain management principles and best practices is a plus 
• Highly ethical and able to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information. 

Food Safety Requirements:

• Be familiar with, and adhere to the JonnyPops Approved Suppler Program
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Production and QA teams to ensure effective receiving on inbound shipments (must include relevant Food Safety and Quality documentation).
• Reflect and clearly communicate the JonnyPops Food Safety Culture when interacting with external stakeholders.
• Adhere to systemwide GMPs as required of all JP Personnel.

Job Type: Full-time 

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000
